Religious Education is part of the Basic Curriculum; its aim being to help pupils to engage confidently, constructively and reflectively with beliefs, values and lifestyles in a religiously diverse world. As well as qualified teachers we regularly invite members of local faiths to support the teaching and learning of RE.

The RE syllabus for Cornwall is established by the Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE), which is responsible for advising Cornwall Council on RE and collective worship.
