Year Six Celebrating Christmas At Rosie’s!

On Tuesday afternoon, Year Six went down to Rosie’s to sing Christmas songs for our parents and the public. We all sang songs such as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Jingle Bells, Away In A Manger and Silent Night. Some people performed solos, some played musical instruments and some read their winter weather poems.

Cassie sang the first verse of Winter Wonderland and then she was joined by the whole of Year 6 for the rest of the carol. They were also accompanied by Jack on the saxophone. Solomon played Santa Claus is Coming To Town on his guitar and Amberleigh and Caitlin sang All I Want For Christmas. Harry and Charlie sang the first verse of Silent Night, which was then followed by everyone else singing along. Emma and Daisy sang Merry Christmas Everyone and Imogen and Megan performed We Wish You A Merry Christmas on their clarinets. Jack performed In Dulce Jubilo on his saxophone and Amelie, Maizie and Daisy performed In The Bleak Midwinter on their flutes. At the end of all the songs we all lined up in classes to get a hot chocolate.

Many many thanks to Rosie’s for hosting us and to Mrs Cann for organising everything.
